Today I am linking up with Mix and Match Mama for Working it Wednesday! This month we are discussing how we are transitioning our wardrobes form Summer to Fall!

The weather here in Iowa lately has been chilly (sometimes in the 50’s) in the morning and then anywhere from low 70’s- low 80’s in the afternoon. So I am cold in the morning and sweating by the afternoon. That means it is the perfect weather for transitional outfits and layers! So these are some examples of outfits I have been wearing in the past week or so.

This is the outfit that I wore to Old Threshers a couple weekends ago. I am wearing a Loft tank top with a denim jacket and white jeans. It was perfect to be outside in the chilly morning but then I just took of my jacket when it got warm!

I just picked up this shirt from the sale rack at Target. It looks more summery by itself (especially with what pants or shorts) but I paired it with black pants for work (my favorite jeggings from Express).

Since it was cold in the morning I paired it with my favorite new cheetah print scarf I got at the Nordstrom sale and my new black vest from Eleven Oaks. Love this with brown flats. I think I need cheetah print shoes!

Here’s that scarf again! With a lush shirt from last year’s Nordstrom sale and my favorite Express stretchy pants.

I love the dress, cardigan and bootie look. The dress and cardigan are both past Nordstrom sale finds and the booties are last year from Target. A super easy look to recreate!

These are some of my favorite outfits to wear but there is only a short window of time where the weather works to wear these types of outfits so I soak it all up!

Thanks for Catching up! See you Friday for a wedding update!
