Hi Friends, happy Friday!
If any of you have been following along, you’ll notice I did”t post a book review for August. But don’t worry- I read one in August. I have been keeping to my resolution of reading one book per month! So today I will be reviewing my August and September books for you. I have done my research before I select a book and I haven’t really read any didn’t like so far so I have two more recommendations for you!
I don’t like to give much away in terms of story line because I don’t want anything to be ruined and I like reading books with no previous knowledge of what it’s about – so maybe you do too 🙂
August Book: It Ends with Us by Coleen Hoover
This was my first Hoover book and it was not what I expected it was going to be just by the title or reading the back cover. It is a love story, but it is also a little heavier than chick-lit. There is a strong message in this book and it will definitely pull at your emotions and make you a little upset – but it also made me happy in many ways. Definitely put this on your must read!
September Book: The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
I believe this is Thorne’s first book but she definitely did a good job. This book was a little different than most of the other books I read in that it was definitely a Romantic Comedy girl book. There is nothing wrong with that, I just usually don’t pick that kind of book. It was very well written and very entertaining throughout. Definitely a girly book (and very rated R) but it was a fun read and I enjoyed reading it!
You should add both of these books to your list! I use Goodreads to keep track of books I have read and books I want to read!
Thanks for catching up and I hope I inspired you to pick up a book and read 🙂
