December Book Review

This post marks the 12th and final book I read for the year in 2017 – which means I met my New Year’s goal of reading one book a month this year! I am so happy that I committed to this goal because I really enjoy reading and it was fun hobby to have. I can’t wait to continue it next year – maybe even read more? 🙂

This month I decided to keep in the Christmas spirit and read a Christmas novel. This was my first book by Elin Hilderbrand, but she writes many novels all set on Nantucket Island. The book I read was Winter Street, the first book in a series of four about a family who owns the Winter Street Inn.

This book was a super quick and easy read – only about 250 pages and it definitely keeps you entertained. It showcases on a lot of family drama all centered around Christmas. It was feel good but also real. You should check it out and add to your holiday break reading list!

I can’t wait to read the next in the series, Winter Stroll. Not sure if I am going to try and read it now or wait until next Christmas season.

Thanks for catching up, I hope you all have a wonderful holiday week. We are deep into celebrating with holiday parties and we have a lot more fun ahead of us with family.

Happy weekend and Merry Christmas!
