Claire AndradeI am back at work after almost a 2 week break today and we had a jam-packed schedule during our time off! I will be recapping everything we did over the Holiday today.
Our Party:
We hosted our very first Christmas party for a few friends and it was a huge success. We had so much fun playing games, eating and doing a gift exchange! This is literally the only picture I have from the night.
Neighbor Party
We were invited over to our neighbor’s house the next day for their Christmas party, which again was a lot of fun!
Mom side gift exchange brunch
On Saturday, we had a brunch and Secret Santa gift exchange with my mom’s extended family. I didn’t get any pictures of it but we had great food and time! So here’s a picture form Christmas day:
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve was spent with our families again. Making trips to my Mom’s and Miguel to his Mom’s. Again, I was the worst at taking pictures this break so here’s another form Christmas Day:

Christmas we were up bright and early to head to my Dad’s in Chicago. We had more food, drinks and gift exchanging!
Papa’s Birthday Day
The 26th was my Papa’s 85th birthday so we celebrated at Maggiano’s with some good Italian food!

The next day we celebrated my birthday with family at a German restaurant because I love German food! Potato pancakes, schnitzel and spaetzel is the best!
Home Relaxing/Organizing:
After so many parties, we finally got home and had time to put stuff away and clean up and watch some movies before the 31st which was..
My Birthday:
I turned 24 on New Year’s Eve! We went out to brunch at this farm to table place and had really great food and build your own smoothies. Then we spent the rest of the day shopping and ended it with a night in and Italian take out.
New Year:
The last two days of break were the start of the new year that I spent doing the last things on my to do list like sadly taking dow Christmas decorations.
