Last week we threw a Baby shower for my husband’s Miguel’s brother and his fiancé. They are due with a baby girl in just a couple of weeks! We are so excited to be getting our first niece.
We hosted at the same place I had my bridal shower because it is just so cute. I went with a super girly pink and gold theme for the shower. I DIY’d a lot of the food and decor and am super happy with it came out.
I decided that hosting parties is just my thing, if I could get rich crafting and hosting parties I think that would be a great job for me lol. I just love seeing ideas and recreating them for my own (it’s even better when they turn out how you want them too!) So I am going to share all the details below!
Sweet Treats Table:
For treats I made chocolate covered Oreos and pretzels.
I also made cake balls for the first time. I really like how they turned out and they tasted pretty good too! (And they were much easier to make than I thought).
I also had these wonderful cookies made. Aren’t the beautiful?
Tip: I always have treat bags for people to fill up at the end of the party to take home some sweets!
Guest Table:
I made this little guest book that can be hung on the wall. All the guests signed a heart!
I made a calendar and we all put our name on a date with a time. Closest one to the birth time will win!
As for favors, I wrapped chocolate bars in cute paper. I wish I would’ve taken a close up of them!
Food Table:
I made enchiladas and had chips and salsa!
Gift Table:
Centerpieces:
I made these diaper cakes (tutorial coming on Friday!) and bought some fake flowers to put into mason jars. I think adding some of that pink crinkle paper added a cute touch!
The image below is pin-able so be sure to pin it!
Thanks for catching up! I will be back on Friday with the diaper cake DIY tutorial!
You did a great job with the snacks and decor. I especially like the mason jar centerpieces.
Thank you so much!!
So cute!!!
Thank you!! Thanks for stopping by!
