Happy Friday! I have a really short and quick list of favorites for you today. As I am still getting back to regular blogging and normal life, I haven’t been buying that much new stuff (plus going on vacation drains your bank account!) But I promise some new summer items are coming up soon!

Hawaii – if you aren’t new around here you are probably tired of me talking about Hawaii but if you are new: check out days one, two and three of our Hawaii honeymoon in Kauai! We spent 10 days there last month and had the best time!

I’ve read two new books since last month that were both worth mentioning. The Last Midwife and Little Fires Everywhere. The Last Midwife was a little slow for me but it had a satisfying ending and an interesting story that was unlike any other I had read (it is set in mid 1800’s in a mining town centered around an elderly midwife, the town’s only one). Little Fires Everywhere was a great story and I recommend reading it -however I am not in love with the ending, I kind of wanted more! Anyone else feel that way? I also ended up not really liking one character in particular, if you’ve read it what did you think??

If you haven’t seen my one pot meals list in a while you can check it out here! I have made 23 unique meals so far, the most recent being a taco soup and a ham and pea pasta.

I was ordering some other books on Amazon and also added this to my cart. I am going to try and write down all of my important passwords so I don’t forget any anymore. I feel like I am always forgetting passwords that I need, is that a sign of getting old? Because I feel like it happens all the time lately! Anyway, if you feel like you are in the same boat, this one is super cute and cheap and has prime shipping!

Thanks for catching up!

  1. A password notebook is so smart and an investment I need to make here soon! I’m always writing information down all over the place and then never remembering where I put the info!
