One Pot Meal #27: Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Pasta

Happy Monday! I am still chugging away at my goal of 100 One Pot Meals for you to cook for you families and today’s recipe is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Two things that just go together are grilled cheese and tomato soup. I mean it’s the perfect combination and a combination I absolutely love. That’s why I decided to combine those flavors into a pasta dish (my other favorite) that was easy to throw together and serve all at once and even have leftovers (if you’re lucky!) I did add ground beef to this recipe to really make it a meal but it could always be omitted.

So come on, feel like a kid again and make this tonight!

One Pot Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Pasta

What You Need

1 Pound ground Beef
Minced Garlic and Onion
1 1/2 cups of water (or chicken broth)
1 Box of Whole Wheat Shells
1/4 cup of milk
1 can of tomato soup (really scrape it all out)
Handful of cheddar cheese shredded (about a cup)
Handful of mozzarella cheese shredded (about a cup)

What TO do

Brown beef with onion and garlic in large skillet over medium heat. Add water and pasta and cook until boiling (about 2 minutes). Reduce heat and cook for another 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add in milk and tomato soup and cook another 2 minutes. Turn off heat but leave on burner and add your cheese and stir until melted (about another 2 minutes).

Serve and Enjoy!

That’s it! So simple and so fast! Between the tomato soup and cheesy goodness – it’s almost like you will be eating a grilled cheese dipped in tomato soup – almost 🙂

Thanks for catching up!
