If there is gnocchi on a menu at a restaurant, I will order it. It is one of my favorite things ever. I love cooking them at home as well. I think it’s fun to mix up a non-traditional gnocchi recipe that isn’t like what you would get at your Italian restaurant. This recipe is a fun twist and is one of my favorites. This is for sure to be a crowd pleaser – who doesn’t like gnocchi and cheeseburgers??
One Pot Cheeseburger Gnocchi
What you need
One pound ground beef
One 16oz package of potato gnocchi
1 can rotel
About 1/4 cup beef broth
About 1/4 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Minced Onion (2 Tbsp), Minced Garlic (1 Tbsp)
Salt and Pepper
what to do
Cook your ground beef in a large skillet with onion and garlic. Add tomatoes and beef broth and gnocchi to put and bring too boil. Season with salt and pepper as well. Bring down to a simmer and cook until gnocchi is almost done )like 5 minutes). Add your heavy cream and cheese and continue to cook a couple of more minutes. Stir and let it sit to thicken a few minutes, That’s it! So so simple! It’s also really yummy and filling too!
